My youngest daugher loves butterflies, so when I saw this black on black butterfly fabric, I knew I had to get it. Made her a little sundress for summer to flit around in. The oldest daughter liked it so much, have to make one for her too!!

Well, I have done it – joined the world of the bloggers! Guess it was just a matter of time! I am a crafter on Etsy and have a shop there that I hope you will visit. http://www.ginghamgrlva.etsy.com
I have been collecting fabric since the early 70′s, always dreaming of the quilts that I would create. Now, however, I realize that I just don’t have the time (and now the eyes) to make those fabulous quilts, so I have turned to Etsy and opened a shop there selling aprons, tea cozies and related items out of these fabrics.
I have made tea cozies for friends, cousins, aunts and relatives and have run out of people to give them to and still have waaayyy too much fabric, so I thought of Etsy. I like the idea of the handcrafted items there and thought this would be a good avenue for my fabrics and tea cozies and aprons to find their way into loving homes of people who could enjoy them.
